各問題の解説です！

①　I have some coins in my pocket.

→ 下線部 “some coins” で「物」なので、
「物」をたずねる what を用います。

→ 仮に some coins の部分に what を置きます。

→ I have what in my pocket. (仮の形)

→ 疑問文をつくります。

→ Do you have what in your pocket?   (仮の形)

→ what を一番前に移動させます。

Q：What do you have in you pocket?

②   Ken wants some hot coffee.

→ 下線部　”some hot coffee” で「物」なので、
「物」をたずねる what を用います。

→ 仮に some hot coffee の部分に what を置きます。

→ Ken wants what.  (仮の形)

→ 疑問文をつくります。

→ Does Ken want what?  (仮の形)

→ what を一番前に移動させます。

③   These are my father’s pictures.

→ 下線部 “my father’s pictures” で「物」なので、
「物」をたずねる what を用います。

⑤   Ken and Bob were studying math in the library then.

→ 下線部は「数学を勉強していました（過去進行形）」という
動作を表しています。「動作」をたずねる時は、what と do
を用いてたずねます。

→ ここでは進行形なので do は doing にします。

→ 仮に watching TV の部分に doing what を置きます。

→ Ken and Bob were doing what in the library then.  (仮の形)

→ 疑問文をつくります。

→ Were Ken and Bob doing what in the library then?  (仮の形)

→ what を一番前に移動させます。
